In this article, we will be going over how to change the image upload size for certain sections like Single Image Posts, Multi-Image Posts, Private Chat Messages, and in the forms, where the file uploads are allowed.


Changing the file size for Single-Image Posts


Single-Image Posts are any post types that allow users to create a post with a single image. A good example of this would be Articles or Events.




By default, the image upload size limit is set to 10 MB. This can be easily edited via the Advanced Settings called 

Single Post Image Upload Size where the preferred file size limit can be specified via a dropdown:




The minimum value that can be selected for this is 1 MB and the maximum value is 50 MB.


Changing the file size for Multi-Image Posts


Multi-Image Posts are any post types that allow users to create a post with multiple images (album). A good example of this would be Photo Albums or Properties.




By default, the image upload size limit is set to 10 MB (per upload). This can be easily edited via the Advanced Settings called Group Post Image Upload Size where the preferred file size limit can be specified via a dropdown:




The minimum value that can be selected for this is 1 MB and the maximum value is 50 MB.


Changing the file size for Private Chat files


The Private Member Chat add-on allows members to chat back and forth through the website. Users can also upload images to these private chat messages:




By default, the image upload size limit is set to 10 MB (per upload). This can be easily edited via the Advanced Settings called Froala Chat PDF File Size where the preferred file size limit can be specified via a dropdown:

Changing the file size for file upload fields in forms


The File Uploads for Forms add-on allows users to add a file upload field for any forms on the website:
