There are three main ways that a member's password can be changed.


1) Changing a Member Password Via the Admin


To accomplish this, navigate to My Members >> Search Members >> Actions dropdown >> Change Password:




Clicking this option will display a module where a member's password can be changed manually:




2) Members Changing Their Own Passwords Via The Front-End


In this way, the admin of the site can only change the password of the member if they already know the password of the member (in instances where the admin of the site might have an admin member to post certain post types).

3) Changing The Password Via The Password Retrieval Link


Every Brilliant Directories website will come with a default URL called /login/retrieval where members can receive an email to update their password if forgotten.


In this URL, the member can enter their login email address and click on "Get My Password":



Which will send out an email to the email with a link to update their password:

To update it go to Settings >> Advanced Settings:
